 Pepper , is the world's most widely used spice for food flavouring. The fruit of the climbing vine Piper Nigrum, it is native to South-Western India. Malaysia ranks no 5 in terms of global pepper production and some 98% of that is produced in Sarawak.
White Pepper comes from the same pepper plant as the Black Pepper. While Black is washed and dried, White Pepper undergoes further process..
White Pepper are picked nearly ripe and are then put under running water for at least 10 days. This is to soften the outer layer and then remove to get the White Pepper Corn.
White Pepper is milder than Black pepper, it gives a spicy lift and imbues warmth and comfort.
White Pepper are added to soups, gravys, sauces, stir fries and also used to marinate meat and seafood.
